today's rating: 8ish...
still lost in a sea of books, notes, and final exams.....
oh, and check this out: my biorhythms for May 2, 2002 (the day of my most difficult final)
is it a coincidence that all signs point to my ultimate and miserable failure during finals week? i think not....someone has it out for me.....
hmmm....oh well, here's hopin i don't get the shaft on my last exam of my fifth year at this penultimate pinnacle of academia...

today's rating: 9...probably a rarity during finals week
being a self-proclaimed slacker, it's rather ironic that i hate to waste my time. i'd rather be busy doing nothing than wasting my time...cuz at least then i'd have the option of doing something or just sitting around...
checkout lines i think i've mastered the art of picking the fastest moving checkout line at the grocery store. i hate to say it, but it all comes down to sex. the size of the cart and the pile of groceries is practically negligible.
1) the slowest lines are those with a mom and 8 yr old daughter
2) two soccer moms
these groups of ladies would rather talk and gossip...the fact that people are waiting behind them is the farthest thing from their mind
3) a girl and her boyfriend - i know guys deny it, but when you're with your girlfriend at the supermarket checkout, it's just instinctive to stand there with your arms wrapped around her
4) one guy - you will never see two or more guys buying groceries together....a man's gotta have his space...they'll each have their own carts, go through different checkout lines, and see who's is fastest
5) a guy buying only jock itch powder, athlete's foot medication, condoms, or tampons - their only concern is to get what they came for and leave as fast as possible trying to avoid seeing anyone they know
that covers just about everyone....of course there are exceptions...but i don't think about things like that. it's not that i'm lazy, i just don't care.
hockey after celine dion, bryan adams, alanis morrisset, and canadian bacon (which we all know is just ham), our crazy neighbors to the north owe us something.
hmmm...anyway, time to study for test #2 - personality theory....fun stuff, eh?

hmmm...4 hours til i leave for my inorganic chemistry final. i think i have it all pretty much down. common sense would say to go to sleep now...but i'm paranoid that the storm is gonna knock the power out and all my alarms will be reset without me knowing and i'll sleep through my final and fail the class and be forced to drop out of school only to go work at Sears and sell shoes.....besides, i figure i should go over all the stuff again just cuz i'm sure i don't know it as well as i think i do....

today's rating: 9+....what a fun day....
last night we had our water polo club banquet. it was pretty sweet. we gave out flasks and shot glasses engraved and everything...not that we're alcoholics or anything. but i must say, my alligator skin flask is most truly awesome.
um, yeah...so after the banquet, we continued our tradition of throwin a huge party....amazing couldn't describe it. anyway, in our not-so-sober states (we had sober drivers -- believe it or not, we aren't that dumb) we went to campus and um, took pictures...like this:
this is actually the US olympic team members, but we look exactly the same...chiseled pecs, rock hard abs, everything....yeah....riiiiiiiiight.....
anyway, time to study for my test...8 hours to go....got my 3 gallon barrel of cheese balls, my two 12 packs of coke, oh, and my chemistry book...all the necessary requirements....
no music, no thoughts...time to study
