in an effort to be politically correct, "Happy _________!"
whether it's a belated Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, New Year's....just kinda fill in the blank.
my winter hiatus from school was quite pleasant, thanks for asking. i went with jaymi up to new york to the land of farms and Meninites and a foot and a half of snow. and to those who say a 22 year old can't frolic in the wintery wonderland that is sledding and snowball fights, i say "pthbhpthbpt!"
my new year's eve consisted notsomuch of drinking and carrying on. we went with jaymi's brother and his girlfriend to a so-so restaurant and then to a casino. and lemme tell ya, i don't see how casino's make any money. i played craps for three hours and walked away with almost five times what i started. not to mention that seemingly everyone at my craps table was making a pretty penny as well. honestly...who are the suckers that don't know how to play the odds?
on another note, this upcoming week i find out if i get to stay in school for one final semester or if i have to wait until the fall to graduate. i'm looking forward to being done with school. i'm ready for the next thing, whatever it is. it can't come soon enough.
